How Engel & Völkers uses Serviceform to get more buyer and seller leads.

The company's headquarters is situated in Hamburg, Germany and regional headquarters are located in New York City and Hong Kong. In 2013, the company established the first of their in-house brand of Metropolitan Market Centers in Barcelona, Spain.

The project

Engel & Völkers’ objective was to open a new communication channel for the Spanish market and improve the quality of the leads coming from the website.

The goal of opening this new communication channel was to improve the way property buyers, sellers, potential candidates interested in working with Engel & Völkers and entrepreneurs looking to open their own franchise had an easy to way to get in touch with the right Spanish office on a 24/7 basis.

Uprealer structured a chatbot solution that had four different conversation paths, one for each of the different types of website visitors that Engel & Völkers Spain wanted to help. The chatbot was implemented on most URLs except on the property pages.

Results achieved

In 6 months time, a total of 1245 leads were generated through the chatbots, averaging 156 leads per month.

Out of those leads, an impressive 288 were from sellers looking for help to sell their property, 689 were from potential buyers, 213 from candidates interested in joining the Engel & Völkers team and 22 others enquired about the opportunity to open their own Engel & Völkers franchise and become part of the global network.

As a result of implementing the Uprealer chatbot, Engel & Völkers online website conversion in Spain jumped from 1.25% in 2019 to 1.47% in 2020 resulting in a 17.6% increase. At the same time, the quality of leads and pre qualification process increased significantly.
